COMMON QUESTIONS

FOOD + DRINK:

Breakfast will be available each morning buffet style in the main hall, where lectures will be taking place. It will generally consist of pastries, fruit, granola, coffee and juice. You are welcome to arrive and eat during class, it isn’t necessary to arrive before class starts to get your meal. Lunch will be offered each day on the go, buffet style, and we will eat during the afternoon portion of class to ensure we are making use of every minute we have with you. Dinner will be our sit down meal after our evening shoots in the main hall each evening, the perfect time to unwind and soak in all of the information of the day.

Please note: If you have any dietary restrictions (gluten free, vegetarian, vegan, etc) please don’t hesitate to contact Jessica directly (info@jessicarosephoto.ca) so she can make sure you are looked after during the workshop.

IS THIS WORKSHOP FOR FILM SHOOTERS ONLY, OR CAN DIGITAL SHOOTERS ATTEND?

Jessica will be shooting the entire workshop on film and will teach the basics of the film camera during the workshop, however the workshop is highly suitable for either medium.  Since the focus is on discovering the artistic self, our cameras are important but only one of our tools. Whichever you choose to shoot with, you will emerge with tools and passion to create work that reflects you more then ever.

HOW EXPERIENCED DO I NEED TO BE TO FULLY ENGAGE WITH THIS WORKSHOP?

There is no set experience level necessary for this workshop. We only suggest that you have a foundational understanding of photography before attending the workshop.   We are thrilled to meet you exactly where you are at and help take you to the next level!

HOW DO I ARRANGE ACCOMMODATIONS AND RENTAL CARS?

Once you have secured your seat at the workshop we will add you to the private Facebook group in which you can make arrangements with other attendees for car pooling and sharing accommodation.

WHERE DO I FLY INTO?

London will be the most monetarily efficient option, about a 2 hour drive from the workshop. There are a number of closer airports including Bristol & Bournemouth which are significantly closer in distance (20 mins to 1 hour)

HOW DO I SECURE MY SEAT AT THE WORKSHOP?

There is a $1,200 deposit to secure your seat with the remainder due 1 month prior to arrival. A contract will be sent for electronic signing.
